So my wife and I were sitting around trying to think of something whimsical and fun and a little crazy to promote our books (as we are so often wont to do…) And divine inspiration struck. We both love to travel. And we saw some vehicle with a little side sticker on it. And we thought, “Oh! I want to put a car magnet on our vehicle!” But then we read about car magnets and how unscrupulous people like to steal car magnets and paint over them and make their own magnets…so we were like, we have to do something that nobody would be able to steal. That’s when we both looked at each other and decided, “Let’s completely wrap our Highlander in vinyl stickers that advertise both of our books!”
My wife immediately contacted the publishers and said, “We want to make our vehicle into a completely wrapped Princess Unicorn Car!” And our publishers are so awesome that they giggled and said, “Everyone in the office has always wanted to see a Princess Unicorn car!” What are the odds? So then my wife contacted an auto design shop that does vehicle wraps for businesses and said, “Hey we want to completely wrap our Highlander in princesses and unicorns.” And they were like, “Of course you do, that would be awesome.” So we went and visited with them and he put us in contact with their designer and now we have started the ball rolling. Soon (very soon) as you are going about your day, you may see the Scraggle Wagon appear before you on the road! And I hope when you do, it brings a smile to your face. I hope all of your kids laugh hysterically and point. I hope everyone that sees it is instantly reminded of their childhood dreams and happier times.
“But Mr. Jack, what exactly is the point of a ‘Scraggle Wagon’?” Ah my young reader, I am so glad that you have asked me that question! The Scraggle Wagon will have Reverie and/or Scraggle Princess on every surface. On the hood, on the back, on both sides, even on the roof! There will be QR codes (large ones) on most of the sides so if you see us on the road, you can scan one with your phone and you will be instantly taken to one of our landing pages for the books! We want to get the word out, and we love to travel. This way, we can travel all over the country spreading word of Reverie and Scraggle Princess! This is going to be awesome. None of the guys I work with believe me that the Scraggle Wagon is happening. I can’t wait to park it next to them.
